For the first quarter all classes are learning about the Scientific Method. Elephant Toothpaste was a big hit as we began learning the steps. Many older students had a pretty good idea of what was going to happen, but they were still only making a hypothesis. As we did the activity I directed the students to think in the terms of observe, question, hypothesis, experiment, analyze results, and communicating with others. Below are a few of our elephant toothpaste creations.

Welcome Back to School!!!!
A lot off change has been going on in our district. I have made as big a one as a lot of our students have. I am at 2 new schools this year. I will be making friends at Pillar Falls and Perrine. I have already seen some familiar faces! I am excited to get things started. I am hoping that this year brings lots of fun and learning to the students. I know it will for me.
